Sithbou Village, Cambodia, 25th June, 2006.
This Cambodian family has an unusual houseguest...
A 5 meter-long Burmese Python!
The female python has been living with the family for the past 6 years, although it appears to be particularly good friends with 6 years-old Sambath Uon.
The 265-pound (120kg) snake arrived when Sambath was only a few months old, and has stayed ever since.
The two are now inseperable.
Sambath's mother believes that the snake brings good fortune, so she's named it 'Chomreun' which means 'Lucky' in Khmer.
